Behind the idea

I want to start off by just thanking you for even being here and reading this part because it truly means the world to me. This whole thing was a dream of mine not too long ago and it has suddenly become a reality. 

I've always wanted to run my own business, be in charge of my own career and be involved in interior design, this just felt like the right thing to do, but the idea was so big and so far away.

After giving birth to my first child, I began maternity leave, and while staying home, the idea of immersing myself in the world of interior design grew stronger. But it wasn't enough; I had to start creating something of my own.

I began making things for fun and I suddenly found myself dreaming of this small home business, I couldn't let it go. I just really wanted to make cute mugs and see my pieces getting used in peoples homes. So I made logos, made pinterest boards and became truly inspired.

I made a corner in my kitchen and began making mugs during every single nap time of my baby boy. The house was a total mess, but that's ok, I was passionate, I knew I was onto something, and besides, at that point, its either a clean house or a small business, I couldn't have both. I learnt about branding, marketing, photography, graphic design you name it, I researched it.

Many mistakes and small goals later we're here. 

Thank you for being here for the journey. I truly hope you love your pieces as much as I have enjoyed making them. It makes me so emotional when someone purchases a little piece that I made. All the love, the comments, the likes and follows, it just makes this whole thing real and I wouldn't be able to do it without the support of everyone so far.
